Firing Up
The engine sheds at Grosmont on the North York Moors Railway. Safety valve inspection day always ensures lots of activity in the sheds as engines are fired up and prepared for inspection. These giants can take up to 8 hours from cold to get up to full steam, though 4 hours is more normal when they are running from day to day.
