High water in the Lake District and a series of rocks are partially submerged by the lapping waters. In the distance lie some of the most iconic peaks in the area, Great Gable and Scafell Pike. Made at dusk, this image relies on a long exposure to create the drama in the scene, highlighting the tension between the rocks and the distant landscape.
