A 'Canaletto' type of composition made from the Scalzi Bridge in Venice. Though the buildings are the same, the water traffic is vastly different to that which Canaletto would have painted. He worked with gondolas and small rowing craft, today motor boats are the order of the day. Timing was key to creating this composition. The exclusion of the boats leaves a scene more reminiscent of a 'Canaletto' style painting.
